Soulful '90s Alt-Rock Superstars Blessid Union of Souls Release Live CD/DVD

Soulful '90s Alt-Rock Superstars Blessid Union of Souls have released a very special live event captured on both CD and DVD, professionally shot with multiple cameras and crystal clear audio! The release titled “Live At Never On Sunday” includes superb performances of the band’s 2 monster hit singles “I Believe” and “Hey Leonard (She Likes Me For Me)” as well as fan favorites “Let Me Be The One,” “Oh Virginia,” “Lucky To Be Here” and a whole lot more! Vocalist Eliot Sloan is as charismatic as ever on stage and his powerhouse vocals absolutely soar on this magnificent recording!

Blessid Union of Souls is an American rock band from Morrow, Ohio that was formed in 1990 by Jeff Pence and Eliot Sloan. The band's first studio album, “Home”, had some success with its lead single, “I Believe”. The song popularized the band with local-area Djs and became one of their greatest hits. Their second album, the self-titled “Blessid Union of Souls”, did not have nearly the success of “Home”, but this did not last long, as their third album, “Walking Off the Buzz”, spawned the hit single “Hey Leonardo (She Likes Me for Me)”.

After the release of their greatest-hits album, “Blessid Union of Souls: The Singles”, which actually collected more outtakes and B-sides than previous hits, they released “Perception”. The band's sixth album, “Close to the Edge,” was released in 2008.

The group's songs have been featured in several movies such as “Pokemon The First Movie”, “Contact” featuring Jodie Foster, “Ace Ventura Pet Detective II”, STARZ feature film “Alice Upside Down”. They have also appeared on several TV shows including Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Live with Regis (4 appearances), VH1 Naked Café , All My Children, Top Of The Pops (U.K.), CBS This Morning, Weekend Today, Cold Case, Good Morning America.

Blessid Union of Souls debut Contemporary Christian album “The Mission Field” was released on Salvation Road Records through Sony/Provident in March 2011. The first single “The Only Song” reached number 32 on the Nielsen BDS Christian AC chart. The video for “The Only Song” was also added to the Gospel Music Channel & JCTV.
