Ontario’s euphonious and soul stirring pop-rock export, River Seven, has announced the physical release of their debut self-titled full-length album on March 6, 2012. Fronted by singer and guitarist Michael Bongertman, River Seven has infiltrated the North American music scene with moonstruck melodies amplified by provocative instrumental solos and captivating vocals. River Seven’s seductive pop infused rock sound can be described as The Script meets Maroon 5 meets John Mayer; complacent, hopelessly romantic rock ‘n’ roll fueled by mystifying vocal and guitar talents.
River Seven’s leading man, Michael Bongertman, is a musical ingénue who has toured throughout the U.S. and Canada while sharing the stage as the opening act for legendary artists such as the Dixie Chicks, April Wine, Randy Buchman, Chubby Checker and Diamond Rio…to name a few. Bongertman founded River Seven in 2010, and has since recorded and performed with a roster of impressive musicians such as Daniel Stone (Nelly Furtado), Bryden Baird (Feist), Nick “Brownman” Ali (Bruvasylum, Rand Brecker); all of which are featured on River Seven’s debut self-titled full-length album.
River Seven’s debut album consists of 12 original songs that are illuminated with sentiment, sincerity and awakening…plus a heart-racing remix of the LP’s first focus track “Baby I’m Alive” and epic covers of Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing” and Jeff Buckley’s “Everybody Here Wants You”. The premiere focus track “Baby I’m Alive” is currently available for free mp3 download. River Seven’s hallucinatory and defiant music video “Something’s Gotta Give” is also available for posting.
River Seven’s debut self-titled full-length album is currently available digitally, and the physical edition will be released on March 6, 2012.
