BLOCK STARZ MUSIC'S ITALIAN ROCK BAND INVADES NEW YORK

Block Starz Music's critically-acclaimed Italian alt-punk rock band, The New Ultraviolet Vanish will make their American debut in New York on May 19th at Arlene's Grocery located at 95 Stanton Street.
 
Hailing from Milan, Italy, the New Ultraviolet Vanish p/k/a The NUV (pronounced “noov”), which consists of lead singer/guitarist Demis Tripodi, vocalist/guitarist Leonardo Sergun, bassist Dante Brin, and drummer Andrea Caristo, has drawn comparisons to the Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Sex Pistols, and Velvet Underground. The New York trip will be the first to the U.S. for the band, who are currently wrapping up production on the official music video for their first single "Jennifer".

The NUV are scheduled for a slate of shows throughout the Northeast and will be available for live performances and local media requests in the New York City area between May 19th and 29th.
